Privacy Policy
What we collect, why, and how to get it deleted.
Last updated: 9 July 2026.
Who we are
Pocket Landscape is a personal communication strategy service operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], of [REGISTERED ADDRESS]. We are the data controller for the personal information described here. You can reach us at hello@pocketlandscape.com.
What we collect
- Your account. Your email address and, if you give it, your name. We do not store a password — you sign in with a link we email you.
- Purchases. What you bought, the amount, and a reference to the payment. Card details are handled entirely by Stripe and never reach us.
- Sessions. When you book, we store the time, your name and email, and the answers you give in any intake form. Those answers may describe personal circumstances, so we treat them as confidential and only use them to prepare for your session.
- Downloads. When you download a guide we record the time, your IP address and your browser's user agent. We use this to detect abuse of download links.
- Newsletter. Your email address, if you subscribe.
- Contact form. Whatever you send us, so we can reply.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
- To provide what you have paid for — delivering guides, running sessions, managing your membership. Performance of a contract.
- To keep the service secure and to prevent abuse of download links. Our legitimate interests.
- To send you booking confirmations, reminders and receipts. Performance of a contract.
- To send you the newsletter. Your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- To meet our accounting and tax obligations. Legal obligation.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information. We share it only with the services that make Pocket Landscape work:
- Stripe — payments. Stripe receives your email and payment details directly.
- Cal.com — session scheduling.
- Cloudflare — hosting, our databases, file storage, and the emails we send you.
- Sentry — error monitoring, so we can find and fix faults.
Some of these providers process data outside the UK. Where they do, transfers are covered by the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or equivalent safeguards.
Cookies
We set no cookies at all while you browse the site. When you sign in, we set a single cookie that keeps you signed in across pocketlandscape.com. It is strictly necessary to provide the service you asked for, so we do not need to ask your consent for it, and you can remove it by signing out.
We do not use advertising cookies. We do not run third-party analytics, tracking, or session recording.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and its associated data until you delete your account. Records of payments are retained by Stripe, and by us where the law requires it, for six years, to meet accounting and tax obligations. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of your data, to correct it, to have it erased, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format.
You can erase your account yourself: sign in, open Account, and use Delete Account in the Danger Zone. We email you a link to confirm. Once you confirm, we permanently delete your account, your purchases, your downloads and your booked sessions, we cancel any active membership, and we delete your customer record at Stripe. Records of completed payments are kept where the law requires.
To exercise any other right, email hello@pocketlandscape.com.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
